Sea Hunts are good boats, so are Cobia boats. There are quite a few people on here that have each, so ask for a ride. Go poke around and see for yourself. [links]
I'm sure it is but you are talking about a whole other price bracket. The Gamefish 27 is a badass machine as well for that much $. I have a 234 Ultra that I fish a lot. You can PM me or call me anytime with any questions about the boat or "CHATLESS".

Never buy a boat from a salesman who is trashing another brand. It shows for the most part that he is utterly clueless about boats and is only interested in making a sale. [links]
I do agree about one of the other posters and the new vs. used boat. I got transferred out of state and the guy that bought mine got a hell of a deal on a boat that I really took care of and will treat him well for a lot of years to come.

The other thing you can do is ask owners at the ramp about their boats (when it is not crazy busy). Most are more than willing to give you more info than you would want. here
Develop a pro and con list of each boat and a third list of your must have and nice to have points.
