I have a ezgo textron total charge 36v battery charger. I’m wanting to know if I can change the plug or the dc cord so it will fit a 1998 ezgo golf cart.

Bruno: you can but it buy you have to replace the cord set and both plugs. Not much cheaper than buying a new cheap charger like this one here. Then sell you old one. more

If the dc wiring is terminated with alligator clips they should be cut off and terminated with proper ring terminals to prevent the alligator clips from causing a spark which could lead to a battery explosion.
