For International skiers the freight charge is $16 per slalom mainline and slalom handle. For one item you don’t need to do anything as the standard $16 freight charge will be applied at check out. If you want to order, for example, both a rope and a handle then add the additional $16 freight charge for a total of $32. I can ship two handles (without Ski Guard) for $16. The $16 freight charge applies to InTow slalom mainlines $75 or more, and the standard InTow slalom handle $99 (straight) or $109 (bent). For all other InTow handles like the ARS handle and for other items like the jump mainline please email Brenda for the freight charge. There is no additional freight cost for items like the kevlar glove liners.
I made this video back in 2016 and had it on the InTow website for several years, but kinda of forgot about it until recently. Towards the end of this video I talk about offering skiers 5/16″ polypro rope in place of 3/8″ polypro rope. As of this year I no longer have 5/16″ polypro rope; skiers can either go with 1/4″ spectra rope or 3/8″ polypro rope. The large majority of skiers have always chosen the spectra rope with at least 99% of InTow handles being strung up in spectra rope. I always joke that it is a rare day a skier wants me to string their handle up in polypro rope. But every year I get a few skiers concerned the spectra rope will be too hard on their body/shoulders. Recently I had a shortline skier order a handle who has always skied with an InTow 5/16″ polypro handle, and since that was no longer available decided to give the spectra handle a try. He recently ordered a back up handle and chose the spectra rope again. This is what he emailed me, “I have no more soreness with the spectra so I should be good to go”. If you are experiencing soreness, then your best bet is to purchase a new slalom mainline. A fresh rope does wonders for a skier’s body!
I am currently at a turn around time of 1 week on straight handles and 1.5 weeks on bent handles.
