(2) 3 gallon tanks, if you can. Use 1 for normal days out, then use 2 for large excursions. Don't leave old gas around. [links]
if i have put this question in the wrong section sorry as iam new to this group
The 10% rule says that it would burn approximately 1 gal of fuel an hour at WOT, but my 9.9 burns more like 1 1/4 GPH at WOT.

Maybe I'm showing my age but wondered if outboards need a break in period. I'm getting the 150 hp four stroke.
