Nyalic boat clear coat is used to restore the gloss and appearance of faded, oxidized fiberglass. Gloss meter readings taken before and after a Nyalic application show gloss improvements by as much as 400%. The cost of using Nyalic's fiberglass boat restoration products to restore the look of an oxidized, faded painted or fiberglass surface can be less than $300 depending on the size of the boat.

Nyalic's marine clear coat extends the life of boats and marine equipment, increases residual / trade-in value, reduces maintenance downtime and expenditures and allows for more time on the water and less time in the shop.

Nyalic’s smooth marine clear coat seals the pores of aluminum and fiberglass to protect against saltwater damage, oxidation, pitting, white rust and black streaks. Painted surfaces retain their crisp look and do not chalk. Bare metal surfaces do not oxidize or stain. Nyalic does not crack or peel and is impact resistant and will not chip. more

autobodystore.com forums are a great source for any kind of paint work questions. Some spray bombs are even decent, like Jammin Clear for instance if you are doing a small area. I prefer Dupont products for overall BC/CC projects. Cheap clears typically have more yellow in them. You get what you pay for with clears. here

if you are going to keep it, and you want the best available use sikens. good enough for Mercedes and BMW's, good enough for a boat. make sure the painter puts a flex agent in the clear. we use it at our bodyshop and it is clearly the best. use a face mask when applying, respirator would be best. and it ain't cheap. good but not cheap. here
