1983 Shamrock 20 CC 1983 20' Shamrock in original condition. It does have the original 302 Ford, and appears to have had the reverse gear replaced at some point. The boat was running when put up, but the bowl is gone off of the carburetor and the engine cannot be started. The boat has been sitting about 4 years with no activity. Everything appears to be solid. The trailer is included in the sale, but it has no title and only a bill of sale will be given with it. The tires are old and we don't know about the bearings, There are also no lights on the trailer. This boat will need some work, it IS NOT turn key and IS NOT running. No one ever guesses the age even close. It has twin 140 Johnson they start right up even after sitting all year. I have had to replace one starter, did a tune up and rebuilt the lower end on the right motor with new water pump. Just installed brand new tires on the trailer. Johnson is a very reliable engine and very easy to get parts. I have been 60 miles off the coast of Galveston tx and close to the same off Freeport tx.It is great riding boat on the ocean even in choppy water. The boat has a good stereo the can handle usb, aux & cd. It has fish finder, navigation and gps guided compass. It holds 150 gallons of fuel, 20gal freshwater. This boat is in such great condition it makes me not want to sell it but I am 11 hours from ocean & freshwater fishing is just no fun anymore. If you are a fisherman this is the boat for you. After 5 years of ownership we are selling our boat to free up money for a house we are building. Plus my wife has decided she hates boating (is that a negative?). I believe in two things: most people don't buy projects, and don't sell junk. As such I have COMPLETELY gone over this boat in the last month getting it ready to sell. In addition to getting the engine checked out by a mechanic (his sticker is on the back of the outboard, I can provide contact info) the following things have been replaced: 1. New Rubrail2. New Upholstery3. New Windshield4. New AGM Battery (buyer can add a second battery)5. New 2W Coleman Solar Battery Tender6. New Pyle Bluetooth Stereo (stream music from your phone!)7. Hubs have been greased every season Last time I used the boat the tach and hour meter worked, the speedometer did not. I don't know if the livewell pump works because we never tried to use it. I think I am the second owner, the original owner lived in Florida. Title is free and clear. I was very happy with this boat in terms of ride quality and build quality. The downside is the hull is pretty heavy and it tops out around 38mph, although I have seen 43mph on GPS with the tide. It cruises on plane pretty comfortably around 3500rpm with 4 people on board.
