This Hunt designed boat was custom built by Hunt Yachts (a division of Hinkley) for the original owner who wanted a quality sea worthy hull however with cruising amenities such as the fully enclosed wheel house and an expanded galley and head. The Surfhunter line is designed for offshore fishing and mostly produced with a dedicated fishing layout. Encore does have a good sized cockpit more than adequate for fishing however also has the accommodation for comfortable cruising with a couple. The boat will run at around 20 kts while burning 10 gal/hr giving over a 225 nautical mile range and has a top speed of 27 kts. Of course at slower speeds the range is increased dramatically. It has a recent Awlgrip paint job in Claret, new ultraleather upholstery, recent $10,000 bottom job with five new sprayed barrier coats and three sprayed coats of bottom paint, reverse cycle air conditioning, bow thruster, dinghy davits and much more. She is gorgeous and I am regularly asked if it’s a new boat.
