I am planning a trip to Sardinia and Nice for 3 weeks next summer from the United States and am wondering if it's easiest to fly directly to Sardinia from the states (via Rome) as I'm having a difficult time finding travel from Nice to Sardinia that doesn't waste a day. Does anyone have experience with this type of itinerary? I can do Nice at the beginning or end of the trip and am trying to figure out what would be the easiest. Thank you! more
EasyJet is selling summer-only direct flights between Olbia to Nice starting June 29 2022 and taking one hour. And less frequently between Cagliari and Nice taking 1h 20.
When Alitalia' s slimmed-down replacement ITA starts up, it is possible that there may be a few reasonable connections with a change in Rome. But too soon to say there, ITA doesn't start until October 16.

Had a wonderful tour of Lake Como with Taxi Boat Varenna. I was staying in Varenna and everything was very convenient and Luca was an excellent tour guide! I would highly recommend Taxi Boat Varenna for anyone visiting lake Como. here
You want a calm lake with no boats around to be able to admire the lake. more

I've always wondered about the "Hedonism" resorts and the kind of people who actually go there? Not that I'm actually interested in that sort of thing (nor is there anything wrong with that) here
It’s more of a late night party resort. Beach and outer pools are calm. The main pool has a lot going on. Restaurants and food are great. more
I do wonder if it's partly the Cancun experience. A lot easier to get to for most Americans, in the same time zones, and cheaper flights more often than not. here
A lot of "adults only" places cater to couples without kids, aka DINKs (Dual Income No Kids). more
