I slow troll and patty hop with the kicker as it saves on fuel. I have a 98 quart cooler mounted on a platform in front of the engine. A quality fish kill bag is a good alternative to save space. I hope this helps. If I had a larger truck I may have gone with the 2320 or 2520. I am happy with mine and if I get a larger truck I will keep it.
Ride not ideal as Ali and others have said. I own a 2320. I also own a 22' Whaler Guardian (well actually two) and two 18' Guardians. The Guardian whalers ride better and there are definitely several manufacturers that ride better than whalers. Yes you stay dry and warm. Best investment for my 2320 Parker was the air suspension driver seat, well worth the $1,600. more

If you're gonna do alot of Baja/Mex trips, then I could see twins.
The only knock on the pilothouse boats is the RIDE. Anyone that tells you they ride great, hasn't fished on too many boats. If you slow them down to 15-18 kts. and bury the bow they will ride OK. This is true of most pilothouse boats. They just were never designed to go fast and ride well. With the helm so far forward ANY planing pilothouse boat is not going to ride well. here
