To use this trick, put white vinegar in a small, clean spray bottle. Spray your appliance. Using a microfiber cloth, wipe in the direction of the grain. When it’s clean and streak-free, dip a clean section of the cloth into pure olive oil or baby oil. Once again, wipe the appliance, going with the grain. The olive oil will add some protective shine. This one is as easy as they come. Simply spray your appliance with a bottle filled with club soda. To clean the blotches and stains, wipe the appliance completely dry with a microfiber cloth. Make sure to wipe in the direction of the grain. more

Mix a small amount of mild dish soap with warm water. Follow the same steps as mentioned previously: applying the solution to the appliance with a spray bottle, wiping clean with a microfiber cloth, wiping in the direction of the grain, and following up with either type of oil.

Stainless steel appliances are both sleek and stylish. The timeless color is neutral, making it a great choice for varying designs and décor. While perfectly shiny upon inst a llation, stainless steel appliances can quickly accrue fingerprints and smudges after just a few uses. If it weren’t for those darn kids needing snacks, things would stay spotless. [links]

This clear, glossy coating was formulated especially for protecting Stainless Steel. It has excellent adhesion properties, gives an even film build up without an oily or greasy residue and no buffing or polishing is required after application. This means less work a beautiful long lasting gloss finish that will not attract dust, dirt or even fingerprints. It’s easy to apply. Just wipe on and let it dry and cure. here

Stainless steel is more of a challenge to keep clean because it shows fingerprints and can easily look streaky. Because of this, it’s very important to move your cloth in one direction and go with the grain when you clean. If you’re not sure which direction you should go, start in a small area and test things out. I find that a clean microfiber cloth works best, though you can also use paper towels. [links]

You should also remember that there are different types of stainless steel. You might need to do a bit of experimenting before you hit on exactly what works best for your specific appliance. In fact, if you have several stainless-steel appliances, each one might require a slightly different cleaning routine. [links]
