Yes, besides holidays – which usually start from 38 days a year. This is your home now. Generally speaking the year is broken down into two seasons – Summer (usually in the Mediterranean) and Winter (usually in the Caribbean). If the yacht does both these seasons it is called a dual season yacht. If they only do a Summer season and stay somewhere for the Winter without guests this is called a single season yacht. Important – don’t make the entire conversation about yachts, most experienced yacht crew don’t want to have the same conversation with every green yachtie. Ask them about themselves, what do they do when they aren’t working, where have they have travelled to recently, share something interesting about you. People will naturally want to help you if you are genuine.
