Have a 5.0 Mercruiser. Wanted to check it out prior to going to the lake this weekend. How long can you run the engine on muffs ?? I don't want to ruin an impeller.
As long as you got water,run it all day on muffs.Just don't rev it over 3000 rpms.Keep eye on temp gauge too. more

All you need is the free ActiveCaptain® app to easily transfer routes and markers from your Navionics Boating app to a compatible Garmin chartplotter. more
3. The ActiveCaptain app will automatically open. When this happens, a pop-up will appear, and you will need to click Import. Once your files are imported, you can find them by clicking Chart, Menu and then User Data. From that point, you’ll click on a specific route to see the details associated with that data.
The Navionics® Boating app is a convenient way to plan your next adventure before you even get to the water. You can pre-fish a new area, mark your favorite spots on the map and plan a new cruising route with just a few taps on your compatible smartphone or tablet.
If you own a Garmin chartplotter without Wi-Fi, you can still register using the app. The app will see your preloaded charts and maps when you register. To do this, open the ActiveCaptain app and select, “My Registered Devices” from the “Dashboard” tab and then press the “+” button.
