The length of soccer season differs by league and country, but generally, at the professional level, a season is ten months long. In the United States, as of 2013 Major League Soccer's regular season is played between the months of March and October. Each team plays 34 games per season.
Many leagues, such as the English Premier League, start in August and end in May of the following year. Argentina's Primera División is an exception, with a split season that takes breaks in January and July of each year. However, even in these cases, the season is ten months in length. Youth soccer in the United States is often played in two seasons, covering the spring and fall, with breaks from December to January and again from June to August. This comes to a total of nine months of play, with the spring season being five months and the fall season being four months.
Removing two and a half minutes from each episode for the intro/outro, the 927 episodes last a total of 19,930 minutes. This is 332.17 hours or 13.84 days. This puts it right under two weeks, though that still would require consecutive viewing, without any breaks for other shows or activities. The still-continuing manga also means that many more episodes are still on the way, too, making the catch-up line potentially even further away as the weeks pass.
No show fits that bill better than One Piece, which is both one of the most popular shonen anime of all time, as well as one of the longest-running. Given its immense length, most audiences would feel intimidated to finally jump in under normal viewing pattern circumstances. However, now might be the best time to curl up and catch up with the now-legendary show. more
Even with this extensive episode list, those stuck inside should logically be able to watch the entire series so far. With this goal in mind, how long would such an anime viewing endeavor take? here
Based on the ever longer-running manga by Eiichiro Oda, the One Piece anime first began airing in October 1999, making the show over 20 years old. Throughout the years, it has amassed just as many seasons, with a current total of 927 episodes, though the last three have not aired yet. Unlike many anime, the One Piece movies are also part of the ongoing story, with the recent 895th and 896th episodes that encompass the "Carbonic Acid King" arc tying into the recent movie One Piece: Stampede. here
The series would likely be up to the forecasted 927th episode by the time a viewer would reach anywhere near that point, with the episodes all ranging between 22 and 24 minutes long. Using the latter as the norm and multiplying it by 927, the binge event would last a total of 22, 248 minutes. This would equal 370.8 hours or 15.45 days. [links]
Given that many will likely be locked down for at least two weeks, it would take them even longer than that to watch the entirety of the show. That's, of course, if they watched it without ever sleeping or taking a break. If viewers were to spend the eight hours a day that would usually be reserved for work, it would take them 46.35 days to catch up with all of One Piece. That would still require them to do this process every day, including weekends. This month and a half of continued viewing is, conveniently enough, also how long some suspect that the current situation could last for (at minimum). [links]
But later in the year the days get shorter (and the nights get longer) and so everything cools down.
It is nice to love every season, because each one has its own feeling and joy that makes it special. more
