First things first, you need to go up into your attic, inspect the condition of the insulation, and calculate the current level of insulation. Your attic should have a certain amount of insulation in it, and the recommended level of insulation for your attic is dependent on where you live.

As long as you pour in 1/8″ layers, you can go as thick as you like. The reason we recommend this thickness is two-fold: first, it allows the bubbles to escape properly, and second, it avoids any excessive overheating of the resin. So for best results always pour in a 1/8″ layer, and you’re good to go!Feb 6, 2021

The ratio range for catalyst to resin is 1 to 2 percent hardener to the total volume of resin to be used. For example, four drops of hardener will be 1 percent of 1 ounce of resin. Adding more of less of the catalyst agent will speed up or slow down the curing time for the resin. more
