Small screw on side of pump above outlets, loosen and allow to vent until oil comes out with no bubbles etc, as per Calum said, put some premix in tank for a few miles running and clear hose on outlet then you can confirm operation

Basically, the engine should be built with lots of two stroke oil.

Its very easy to bleed the autolube (red oil pump). But thats the last thing you need to do after you rebuild. [links]

Probably best not to do a full tank, but enough to see you down the road. here

Bleeding the oil pump would happen naturally as its not a closed loop.

If you are on a personal connection, like at home, you can run an anti-virus scan on your device to make sure it is not infected with malware. more

Start the bike and you should start to see oil running out of the bleed hole. Leave the engine running on tick over until you CANNOT SEE ANY AIR BUBBLES IN THE OIL running out of the bleed hole. [links]

Did the bike seize? If it did I'm afraid he will have damaged the bore, if not, fill the two stroke tank up (should be using fully synthetic) and remove the bleed screw, (on the pump)and twist the throttle. Wait and see if anythig comes out. more

Whether it does or doesn't, put an egg cup full of two stroke oil into the fuel tank and shake the bike to mix it. here

SR50 with Aprilia/Morini engines are having an electrical oil pump which needs to be bleed differently than a mechanical pump.
When you are rebuilding it, if you missed oil or you are changing the oil hoses, this should be done to keep your engine alive! [links]

Rear fairings need to be off the scooter and you oil tank should be full.
1: Disconnect the larger oil feed line on the pump if it's not done. Let the oil flow till it spill out of the oil hose then reconnect it on the oil pump.
2: Disconnect the oil feed from the intake manifold.
3: Apply full throttle then put the key at ON position. Don't release throttle until you hear the oil pump.
4: Wait until the oil spill out of the hose that goes on the intake manifold.
5: Put the key at OFF position and reconnect the oil feed to the intake manifold. Wipe any oil drops on the floor or on the scooter.
6: It's done! more
