Materials needed:
1- 3/8" OD soft copper tubing x 30" lg,
1- 3/8" Primer bulb
12' - clear PVC tubing
3 - 5/8" - 3/4" adjustable hose clamps more
I pull out the fuel gauge and then use a barrel pump to pull all the gas out and into jerry cans every Fall at lay-up. The last half gallon I suck out with my oil extractor pump modified with a 3/8 copper tube on the end. In the Spring I use the oil extractor again to pull out any water that may have accumulated before filling with fresh fuel. here
Cheapest way would be stick a old garden hose in there pinch off the vent and blow real hard and look out here it comes as long as you keep the end lower than your tank.
once fuel was pumping into a gas can that was lower than the fuel tanks. siphon action took over. was pretty easy to do. felt mostly safe considering what i was playing with..

Draining the gas out of the fuel tank by yourself entails you to use bare hands. However, some may think the greasy gas is unpleasant. So you have to use work gloves to avoid feeling it for real and maintain the cleanliness of your hands.
The solution to revert your fuel tank to its clean stain is by draining. Doing it by yourself can help you cut the expenses. To start, you may be asking yourself, ‘How to drain gas from boat fuel tank?’.
When utilizing a primer bulb, you have to squeeze it firmly to stimulate draining. Then, you have to keep on pressing until all the fuel is ejected. [links]
The how to remove bad fuel from boat fuel tank guide will also help with safely removing dirty and contaminated fuel.
Check the boat owners manual for instructions specific to your boat.

This guide highlights how to clean contaminated fuel tanks, remove sludge, unclog fuel lines and rejuvenate old gasoline and diesel fuel.
You should always empty the gas from your boat's tank when you're getting ready to store it for the season. It's dangerous to leave flammable liquid sitting, and the gas can lose its combustibility by the beginning of the next boating season. For your money and piece of mind, it's best to get that gas out of the tank and into another engine that can use it.
Connect your fuel line hoses to either end of the fuel line primer bulb. (Fuel line hoses 5/16-inch or 3/8-inch will fit on both ends of the bulb.) here
Place the gas tank (or any other approved receptacle) lower than your boat gas tank and put the other end of the fuel hose inside the opening.
