Heat removal from nuclear reactors is also key issue of reactor physics. For a reactor to operate in a steady state, with an internal power distribution that is independent of time, all of the heat released in the system must be removed as fast as it is produced. This is accomplished by passing a coolant (water in case of PWRs or BWRs) through the core and through other regions where heat is generated. here

A knowledge of atomic and nuclear physics is essential to nuclear engineers, who deal with nuclear reactors. It should be noted that atomic and nuclear physics is a very extensive branch of science. Nuclear reactor physics belongs to applied physics, drawing from particle physics or nuclear chemistry. These branches have common fundamentals. Atomic and nuclear physics describes fundamental particles (i.e. electrons, protons, neutrons), their structure, properties and behavior. These physical fundamentals consist of:

‘Safety’ is the achievement of proper operating conditions, prevention of accidents and mitigation of accident consequences, resulting in protection of workers, the public and the environment from undue radiation hazards.

Neutron diffusion theory is the branch of science that studies the behavior and application of neutrons within the nuclear core or in various environments. Diffusion theory provides a theoretical basis for neutron-physical computer simulation of nuclear cores. The term theoretical has to be emphasized.

Dextron ATF is a good substitute for outboard tilt and trim oil, especially since the tilt-trim unit is a hydraulic system. As a substitute, Penzoil company has a marine tilt-and-trim hydraulic fluid that can be used for power steering and tilt-and-trim systems.

Furthermore, how do you get air out of tilt and trim? Bleeding: OB tilt/trim units are "self-bleeding" and you should always perform these "purge cycles" to follow even if you don't need to add any more fluid. To purge/check, remove the tilt lock (if engaged) and cycle the OB down by "jogging" it down, in 2-3 seconds runs.

When your outboard motor's hydraulic trim and tilt pump is low on fluid, the hydraulic motor will groan and fail, or come close to failing. You'll have to add hydraulic fluid to the system. If you've drained your hydraulic system for maintenance, though, you'll have to replace the hydraulic fluid you've removed with fresh fluid so that your system will work. Making sure that you add enough fluid requires only that you add fluid to the right point.

Screw the cap onto the hydraulic reservoir. Lower the engine to the down position with the trim control.

Open the filler spout on the hydraulic reservoir. Add fluid to the hydraulic reservoir until it's even with the bottom of the fill spout.
