If the medium strength solution doesn't solve the problem then you can use more powerful solutions. Be very careful when working with the more powerful oxidation solutions because these are much stronger and can cause harm if not treated with respect.

The first thing that you will need to do is take a look at the problem you are suffering from. Aluminum oxidation is a major problem but there are different degrees of oxidation that can need different treatments.

Aluminum doesn't rust but there will be patches of dull white areas where the metal has oxidized. Removing the oxidization from aluminum siding is actually pretty easy. It's even easier as long as you spend time preparing and getting all of the right tools that you require to complete the project.

These are simply sprayed or rubbed onto the surface of the aluminum and then buffed up using a clean cloth. You don't need to actually use a power buffer however you will find it easier if you do. When using a power buffer to do this job you will need to use a clean pad regularly. here

If the oxidation is mild and light then you should be able to use an oxidation removal product without acid. This can be purchased in sprayable or paste solutions which are very easy to apply. here

If you are dealing with heavy aluminum oxidation then you will need to use a much stronger product. Many of these stronger products include acids which make them very powerful.

Before trying any of the methods listed below it is important that you carefully wash and dry your car first. If not, any dirt or other particles will be spread as you rub the surface, possibly causing further damage to the paintwork. It is also a good idea to test any home remedies for oxidized paint on a less visible area first. For example, under the trunk lid or a door. After you have treated the oxidized paint, an application of quality car wax will restore shine and act as a sealant to protect the paint.

Ideally, prevention is better than a cure. Parking a car in a garage helps, as does a car cover. Regular polishing and waxing will also help to preserve paintwork. However, regular wear and tear is inevitable over time. You may have no choice but to seek out ways to remove oxidation from car paint. If you are nervous or unsure about doing this job with home remedies for oxidized paint, simply schedule an appointment with DetailXPerts to have your car professionally detailed – car paint oxidation removal is one of our eco steam detailing specialties.

After you have polished with baking soda, remember that prevention is key. Regular wax treatments help to reduce the risk of future oxidation. more

Aluminum wheels naturally oxidize over time, leaving them susceptible to dirt buildup and damage and in need of a good cleaning. Other buildups, such as corrosive brake dust, can compromise the integrity of your wheels as well. Cleaning your aluminum wheels, however, is relatively simple. You'll need water, an aluminum wheel cleaning product, and a soft bristle brush. After gathering the materials and prepping your car for cleaning, you can get to work removing surface debris and oxidation and finish with a polish to give your wheels that just-bought shine. here

I realize there are pros and cons regarding cleaning oxidation from an aluminum boat. Mine is a 1985 SeaNymph 14R V-hull Big Water. I mainly wanted to clean not necessarily highly polish to remove the rough chalky oxidation primarily above the waterline prior to completion of sealing seams and replacing rivets in the hull/bow area of my boat..

Available at most auto parts store. I just use them like a sponge and wash with a car wash solution or just Dawn dishwashing detergent. and at a buck-o-five they're cheap. here
