Rust can make its way to your carpet from leaky windows, wet toys, or furniture, and it can be hard to get out once it sets in! Instead of using harsh chemical cleaners to remove rust stains, you can make a safe, inexpensive cleaner from household ingredients. With a little patience and some elbow grease, you can get your carpet clean without having to call in the professionals!

It is recommended that you wear a hat as well to prevent the dust from entering your hair and irritating your scalp.

In the house setting, the fiberglass dust is most likely to originate from the air duct system or the insulation systems. You will be forced to replace the entire system if the dust is coming from the air duct system, as it will be impossible to get rid of all the fiberglass dust there.

After sampling, you would be required to send the sample to a lab. You will then receive results within 7 to 10 days. These type of kits are suitable for use by architects, homeowners, plant operators, government officials etc.

Concentrate mainly on the areas where the dust accumulates, such as the door jambs and windows. Repeat this step severally for the best results. more

First thing I would do is start pulling and see where you get with that method. If you already have the adhesive remover you can try some on a spot and see what happens, either way a lot of scraping is in your future. here

I have tackled the motor and got it running like a lion, the heavy oxidation on the boat is in process of being restored to factory Shine or Better. Using my Rotary and PC to do the job on that along with much wet sanding and Meguairs products. WHew. what a job alone that is. But it is coming --i will post pictures soon.

1. tune up--spark plugs, ignition, bought a remote starter and a compression gauge and figured out how to hook it up and check compression. good compression-147,147,150 ad 150.
2. changed the lower units gear oil
3. put a 9" setback plate on her and double nuted the motor to the plate
4. changed the prop to a SS 22p TSO prop. Now she moves-- GPS-52mph at 5100 rpm's. with a max rating of 5250 rpm's. so i am there.
5. outside hull is being worked on now --heavy oxidation on horizontal surfaces.
6. water pump and thermostat replaced. This is a ***** trying to figure out how to get this thing to line back up with the midleg and get it in the proper gear--but she is back together and working like a dream.
7. Carpet is Next on the list
8. couple places where there are nicks on the gelcoat --but I will let the pro's fix that. shoudn't be much for a few nicks and cuts.
9. Seats need to be re-done but not a priority right now as they are holding up pretty good --just need to look at doing them in the next year or so.
10. Time for enjoying the boat is what it is all about --and cathing my first 10lb LUNKER .

Yes pulling off the old is a PITA and you can use some chemicals to loosen the glue but good luck. It usually turns into a real mess of goo. lots of scraping is in your future. more
