"I found it took a lot of effort to keep from sliding off the back of the smoothly painted wood seats. I resorted to sitting on a spare life jacket to relieve the numbness. But now I have this wonderful cushion to relieve my rear. Thank you so much for this cushion, it is real butt-saver!" Brian Clastroms, Naples FL

The installation is simple. First, deflate the tubes and simply place the platform inside the boat. Then, push the adjustable components away from each other until the outer sides of the aluminum frame tubes touch the inside of the boat tubes. Finally, tighten the screws and inflate boat tubes to squeeze the seating platform between the boat tubes. For boats with plywood floors, the platform will rest on the stringers. [links]
The adjustable aluminum frame can fit any size boat from SD230 to SD600 and many other brands of boats on the market. It will work with air deck or hard deck boats.
PLEASE NOTE: Boat chair pedestal, swivel platform, chair and hardware are not included, but can be purchased separately at many retail stores. Four bolts provided as free bonus gift, so that to secured pedestal to platform. [links]
Sitting frame will extend from 29" to 44", fitting most inflatable boats with interior widths between those measurements. Will fit all Saturn and Azzurro Mare models 8.6' length and up. Will not fit into KaBoats. See frame dimensions on the Specifications tab.
Thinking that was custom made, but have you considered building a small frame to mount your seat on? I built a big four bay frame for different applications on my river raft, but you could throw together a scaled down version for peanuts that would get the job done. I like frames because they place all the weight on the tubes.
I have a follow up question since these post were back from 2010 thru 2012. Now that you have purchased, or maybe you never did, boatstogo aluminum platform with steering wheel and seat platform. how has it performed. [links]
