The Met Gala is finally happening after skipping last year due to the pandemic. This year the Costume Institute has announced a two-part Met Gala for 2021 and 2022. As per reports, the exhibition this year will be called In America: A Lexicon of Fashion, and will open on 18 September. All the attendees will have to provide proof of their vaccination as per a report by The Daily Beast Tuesday, a spokesperson for the Met revealed, “Currently, all attendees at The Met Gala on September 13 must provide proof of full vaccination and will also be expected to wear masks indoors except when eating or drinking. We will update these guidelines as needed.” Reports also said that tickets to the invite-only event are already sold out. For the unversed, the tickets to the invite cost $30,000 and tables going for $275,000.
