Octopus is currently the world's eighth largest superyacht, owned by Paul Allen, the co-founder of Microsoft.
Octopus measures 414 feet, sports two helicopters on the top deck and a 63-foot tender docked in the transom (one of seven aboard). The yacht also has a pool on board, located aft on one of her upper decks, and two submarines: one operated by remote control for studying the bottom of the ocean. Side hatches at the water line form a dock for jet skis.

The staggering yacht is a 468ft-long vessel, which has three 300ft masts. The superyacht boasts eight floors - with a helicopter pad on one of the decks - and an underwater observation room. more

In addition to being the longest private yacht in the world at 222 meters (728.4′), the yacht will have a beam of 24.9 meters (81.69′), and a draft of 4.8 meters (15.78′).

“That’s hard to determine, as there is a limit, not in size, but functionality and logistics,” Timm said. “We haven’t gotten there yet, but if the uber wealthy of the world have their way, Project Triple Deuce will be toppled in the future. How soon? That will be anybody’s guess.”
