The boat looks solid. No visible signs of a swollen transom. The gel-coat could use a wax job. There are stress cracks on the cap, most likely from dock pilings. There are chips and scratches, which is normal for a boat this year. The canvas on the enclosure looked to be in good condition however, the plastic is cloudy. The helm and seats look functional. The bottom of the hull is very fouled and will require some scraping. The trailer looks solid and the tires have deep tread. Some of the rollers look like they need replacement. The lights on the trailer are not functional. POP Yachts recommends having all trailers inspected before purchasing. Stock #248907 Classic Mako 228 powered by 2002 Mercury 200HP Offshore!
