Other cables are solid core. Sounds good, but it isn't. Mercury cables have a flexible core. They're more forgiving in tight, difficult installations. And more capable of handling shift loads. The idea is to bend, not break. And keep you on the water, not in the shop. [links]

Ill try it out again this weekend and see whats up. May have had a bad ground now that I think about it on the test light.

Checked it at the motor and its all plugged in. The fuse at the motor is good too.
