Linda Marshall - I have never heard of this poet but I have to say if this is typical of his work then it's very good.
Quite experimental for the time he flourished too! more
nmurphy626 - I have loved this poem for a long time - never knew the author. But the version I have has a couple of additional lines at the end: here
Very clear descriptions of what the eye sees and the imagination imagines. Something I never really thought of -- when it is gone to me doesn't necessarily mean it is truly gone. We can apply that to our lives as well. I might rephrase the fifth line with " ------just where the sea and sky begin to mingle" but that is nothing more than a slightly educated suggestion. Well penned and well enjoyed. failte-sarah here
And, I’m sorry about the pun, but you know, ship happens.

would get you excited for a cruise, but it's campy cruise ship fun if horror is a genre you enjoy. In the eighth installment of the series, Jason Voorhees stalks a class of graduating high school seniors as they set sail onboard SS Lazarus from Crystal Lake to New York City. The ship eventually sinks, and of course many of its passengers die in gory ways at the hands of the title villain. Despite its title, most of the action happens onboard the ship, not in Manhattan. here
