The 20 amp blown fuses are doing their job protecting the wiring and electrical equipment. Please contact your local U-Haul center and schedule an appointment with the hitch professional. The hitch pro, will be able to quickly diagnose the blown fuse issue and make any necessary repairs.
Will this #14493, work on a 2012 Acura MDX?
The 14493 includes universal installation instructions.
Our hitch pro writes: "The unit is working properly, however, I am not exactly clear as to where or how you attached the power wire. Supplying power to the unit directly from the the battery is the recommended procedure."
