over on our side of the line it used to be easy to do this but the last trailer I built I had to have reciepts to prove the materials were not stolen ( even the used tires and rims ) and once inspected a aluminized sticker was attached with a VIN on it ( with real theft deturant" double sided tape" only the brainchildren who run this state would think of this ) I pop riveted mine on and stamped the Issued Vin code on the frame and axles when I got the registration
