If you remember us talking about the steering arm earlier, there is a nut attaching the engine steering arm to the steering cable. All you need to do is remove that nut and pull the steering arm out of the steering cable. here

On the other end of the cable is where it is attached to the helm. The helm is bolted to the console of the boat.
