The HYDRYVE pedal system makes maneuvering in shallow water or around aquatic plants, an absolute breeze and by using the power of your legs, you’ll be able to go for long distances without getting tired. We have taken a modular approach to our design. This way if anything goes wrong, repairing the drive is easy. To prevent damage to the actual kayak, we have specially designed an independent housing in which the HyDryve sits. This ensures if too much torque is applied to the pedal drive, the kayak remains undamaged and the housing is easily replaced. It is important to note that the pedal housing is NOT a watertight structure as the “scupper hole” in which it resides is watertight. The gap between the top and bottom halves is completely normal and specifically designed in that manner to ensure easy cleaning and rinsing as well as quick drying. The pedal housing acts as a buffer between the pedal drive and the watertight hull.
The HyDryve comes with a One-year limited warranty and features adjustable pedals as well as adjustable foot straps to ensure a comfortable position. In addition, our footrests are double-sided and optimized for either barefoot use or use with boots and shoes. And, while you have to reverse the HYDRYVE in order to go backwards, we have made sure that insertion and removal of the pedal drive is simple and quick.

Our famous tunnel hull still provides a high level of stability to ensure an easy and relaxing sight fishing experience. We’ve also included our most recent and most comfortable ERGOCAST G2 seating system. A pocket on the backrest allows you to insert extra lumbar support with straps that adjust the level of support. Straps under the seat adjust to provide as firm or as soft a seat as you prefer. An elastic pocket and strap conveniently located on the seat allows you to keep your pliers, cutters and clippers close at hand. And, there is a large pocket on the back of the seat to provide even more space to store your gear. When you’re ready to stand, simply flip the seat backwards to give yourself even more deck space to stand on.
Our unique manufacturing process allows us to include additional flotation inside the hull of all of our sit-on-tops in order to meet or surpass ABYC Standards.
