These ships contain a mixture of the characteristics of the other three ship types. This ship was released with the Ship Customization update. It's speed is close to that of a War Sloop, armor similar to a War Frigate, and broadside power of a War Galleon. here
The Player Count icon displays how many people are on your ship. (This includes you.)
These small Galleons give a beginning pirate a load of cargo space. It has the toughest hull out of all light class ships. The Light Galleon is also the slowest out of all light class ships. It has two deck guns on each side and five broadside cannons on each side.
These lightning fast, maneuverable and all around agile ships give a beginning pirate a good ship for plundering with a little more punch with eight topside guns. This ship also has 10 broadside cannons.
(Note: Ship health will decrease over time if it is struck by firebrand shots.)
But, the most famous pirate names come from the most famous pirate who terrorized the ports and waters in the Caribbean. Captains such as William Kidd, Jack Rackam, George Booth, Nathaniel Butler, Edward England and Redbeard are some of the most familiar pirate names to those familiar with the buccaneers of old.
And, then we have the female pirate names to worry about. Back in the day, when yer great, great, great grandfather was but a scallywag and landlubber in port, the likes of Anne Bonny and Mary Read were reigning terror over the seven seas. here
Avast, ye mateys, if it be pirate names ye be looking for then ye come to the right place. Pirate names are a dime a dozen, so methinks I'll take a gross of them. Pirate names date back to the 1600s when Black Bart, Blackbeard and Calico Jack were reigning over the high seas.
Many times pirate names were picked to instill fear on the high seas or establish a reputation or given as a nickname by the crew. This is especially true in fictional works where the likes of Captain Hook, Captain Blood or Long John Silver are popular pirate names recognizable to most.
The female pirates got themselves a bad reputation for fierce fighting, out battling the men on the ships.
So, if ye wants to walk like a pirate and talk like a pirate, then ye better get familiar with pirate names lest ye be flogged by a cat o' nine tails by those who do. Remember, me scallywag friend, if ye don't know something just look real mean and growl to your landlubber friend "Arrrrrgh!" and they will leave you alone.

Henry Avery, who was a one-time Royal Navy midshipman, organized a successful mutiny while stationed aboard the privateer Charles II along the coast of Spain in 1694. This takeover set his short-lived occupation as a pirate in motion, renaming the ship the Fancy and setting out with his crew in search of fortune, which they amassed working primarily in the Indian Ocean. They headed to the Bahamas in late 1695 with an immense fortune to retire early, where they were granted refuge in exchange for treasure. [links]
Originally launched as a slave ship from London in 1715, the Whydah was overtaken by pirates commanded by “Black Sam” Bellamy during its second voyage. Rumored to contain treasure collected by Bellamy’s crew from more than 50 ships, the Whydah ran into a storm off the coast of Cape Cod where it hit a sandbar and sank, leaving just 2 surviving men out of 146.
Intended to halt attacks against British ships in the East Indies, the Adventure Galley was captained by Scottish sailor William Kidd. When hunting down pirates and enemy French ships proved too difficult, he decided to turn on allied ships instead. Kidd eventually abandoned the ship and hoped for leniency upon return to London, but was found guilty of piracy and executed. here

While the romanticized days of swashbuckling pirates who pillaged and plundered their way through life is long gone, the notion of such a carefree lifestyle remains in the hearts of many. Today’s sophisticated pirates arm themselves with automatic weapons and often strike unwitting victims with the help of speedboats and therefore have ushered in a new and very different era for pirates and their ships. Although historically most successful pirate captains didn’t command flashy or extravagant ships, their homes upon the sea were an essential part of amassing their wealth. Whether real or fictitious, let’s take a look at some of the most famous pirate ships in history.
Another fictional ship, this one featured in Peter Pan, the Jolly Roger is the ship that Captain Hook, Mr. Smee and their crew of pirates call home. Captain Hook uses the ship as headquarters for all of his pirate business and is the only place in Neverland, besides Skull Rock, considered to be pirate territory. more
