They are only about 5 or 6 inches wide, so I don't know that many PWC hulls would have a severe change in hull shape that would affect them in the center of the keel. They are thicker than you might expect, so I'd say if you do have a sharp change in the shape of the hull along the keel you might have problems. here

My center section is getting beat. I always manually pull up onto the shore, but still taking a beating. where i usually launch there is no dock to tie up at, so you always have to use the beach, which has a lot of small rocks mixed in. anchors are not practical since is a river with pretty good current.

KeelGuard cannot say specifically which hulls do not work.

Most brands of keel guards offer a lifetime product warranty while other brands offer warranties on the equally-important adhesive. Applying a shield to your keel is a task where details matter. For example, do not overlook the surface prep stage! Wholesale Marine recommends installing your Keel Shields by the book, because without careful installation they can loosen and peel off. If you need installation advice, give our knowledgeable staff a call. We’ll be glad to assist you !

At some point nearly every boater runs their craft aground. When this happens, keel guard s can prevent a mishap from becoming a costly mistake. If you beach your boat without a protective shield in place, the gelcoat and fiberglass will most likely sustain damage. When this happens it is costly to repair and can also provide more friction causing lower boat speeds and wasted gas. These issues can be completely avoided by installing keel guards . If you’re in the market for them, we’ve great news: Wholesale Marine carries both leading shield brands, Keel Guard and KS Marine KeelShield . more

Has anyone on here used this tape? I see alot of kayakers/canoers use it and it seems to do the job but I am wondering how it will hold up with a bit more weight beaching on the sand and water pushing at it at 25+knots (assuming no drama as it used for the front of plane wings!) but mainly concerned with how it goes on the bottom trailer rollers when launching/retreiving? It can be easily shaped to the hull and sounds fairly easy to fit. here

I have seen a post in here regarding this 3M 8672 being used as a cheaper alternative to a keel guard but for the life of me cannot find the thread? here

Only wanting it for the occasional sand beaching at peel and tangas etc so don't require a expensive thick rubber/alloykeel guard for concrete ramp contact or rocks etc.
