This measurement includes a full tank of gas and any other fluids that keep a car running. So, a vehicle’s payload capacity — the amount of stuff it can safely carry after you’ve filled up the tank with gas and topped off all of the fluids — is just a matter of subtraction. here
Do SuperSprings increase my vehicle’s payload? No; absolutely not. Nothing can increase your GVWR. The GVWR of your vehicle is set by the manufacturer and it cannot change.
The only way to boost the payload rating is to take weight off the truck: removing the rear seat or bumper, using lighter wheels and/or tires that meet gross axle weight rating requirements, and so on.
The payload capacity DOES NOT include a driver. It DOES include a full tank of gas. Scroll down a short way to “Calculating Payload Capacity”, and you’ll see the payload capacity is the GVWR (max weight the truck can weigh all loaded up) minus the “curb weight”.
Subtract the curb weight from the GVWR to find the payload capacity. For example, if you have a light-duty truck with a GVWR of 9,000 pounds and a curb weight of 6,000 pounds, the payload capacity will be 3,000 pounds: GVWR – curb weight = payload capacity. [links]
All towing capacities are braked capacities. This means that the trailer being towed has a braking system installed to assist the vehicle braking system. The towing capacities for trailers without brakes will be much less. Confirm all towing capacities with the owner's manual. here
Note: A fishing boat and trailer usually weighs between 900 lbs. to 6000 lbs., a tent trailer typically weighs between 1,000 lbs. to 1,500 lbs. and a fifth wheel travel trailer averages between 12,000 lbs. to 15,000 lbs.
