I tried this soap for the first time today on a black car and it left a hazy/white / film/soapy / residue.
In a small test area I used CG V36 polish with a hand applicator, and it got rid of the film. more
I don't want to polish the whole car, does this thing come off with a wash using a normal soap like CG Honeydew? more

Since you have a wax/sealant on the paint not a coating, just be prepared to go back over and redo your LSP. more
What I would do and do in situations like this, is wash and then go with an attempt to chemically remove the tree sap or fall out first. I use SuperClean De greaser in the purple bottles first. I usually removes any sap or tar, etc. then do a baggie test. From there, Iron-X, which it never hurts to use anyway, and again, test. If for any reason those don't work, I use a blower to clear away the water then use a MF Rag that I spray liberally with CarPro Eraser and load up with 3M Adhesive remover and gently wipe. That always does the trick and when done safely it won't mar the paint. It will however do a number on the LSP. Finally, I wash with CarPro Reset and see how my coating is performing. Waxes or Sealants will for sure be removed. more
What are the options for a "deeper" clean beyond a hand wash but not as in depth as a claybar? My '15 F100 has that slightly rough, not silk smooth feel. This is after washing and using Chemical Guys Butter Wet wax the other night. Is there a recommended cleaner that will help remove a lot of the crud sitting on the top coat?
Its been a while since I've read up on detailing, I've forgotten a lot of the techniques. I do remember that things like clay bar were very effective. Truth is, I just don't have the time right now.
With such an exhaustive (and diverse) list of cleaning to do's, you might think you need to invest in a lot of different cleaning products. The good news? You really only just need one: Purple Power . more
Purple Power is an industrial strength, aqueous cleaner manufactured by Aiken Chemical Company under the Clean-Rite brand. Aqueous cleaners, like this cleaner and degreaser, are different from solvent-based products. Whereas solvents cannot be mixed with water (and therefore must be used at full concentration for specific purposes), aqueous cleaners like Purple Power can. Because they can be mixed with water, they can be further diluted to clean a wide variety of surfaces at different strengths. more
It's that time of the year: spring. You might not be much into the traditional spring cleaning, but it's getting harder and harder to ignore that ever-growing "To Do" checklist on the refrigerator.
At PSC , we know the importance of industrial lubricants--they literally keep the world running smoothly. We also know that the need for industrial strength isn't limited to industry alone. That's why we believe that no matter what you're cleaning, you deserve a powerful solution.
