Every year the Jeanneau and Fountaine Pajot Owners Rendezvous offers owners and their guests a chance to meet and bond. The Cruise Annapolis fleet is composed entirely of new, or nearly new, Jeanneau and Fountaine Pajot vessels, making the rendezvous the perfect way for our owners to socialize. This year’s event took place in Shaw Bay and St. Michaels. It boasted a cinematic theme of “Sailing with the Stars.”
The next morning, our party enjoyed a farewell breakfast and gathered for a group photo while sporting our matching Jeanneau and Fountaine Pajot shirts. The Owners Rendezvous offered a weekend of fun for friends, new and old. We are already looking forward to the next get-together. The weekend festivities began on Friday, July 27 with a raft-up on the Shaw Bay off of the Wye River. All participants were encouraged to dress up and decorate their boats in accordance to a movie of their choice. The group aboard “Yebo,” a Fountaine Pajot Hélia 44, made a grand entrance with their Pirates of the Caribbean themed vessel, complete with treasures for all and a crew dressed in pirate garb. Another show-stopping group was aboard “Lucky Cat,” a Fountaine Pajot Lucia 40, that brought The Karate Kid to the bay with traditional Japanese music, sushi and saki, paper lanterns, and costumes. A passing rainstorm failed to put a damper on the party. Once the storm cleared, it gave way to a breathtaking sunset!
