Since 1992, the year of its opening, MARINA DEGLI AREGAI offers a complete range of high quality services. The port can accommodate 980 boats and yachts from 6 to 50 meters in length (including 73 berths for visitor).
The remains of an ancient bridge constructed by the Romans can be observed when you are at Via Julia Augusta. The structure was devastated by successive pillaging by barbarians during the medieval times. This was the main reason why local inhabitants then were forced to move towards the inner section of the island and establish a community referred to as “Sancti Stefani” within the foot of the hill of Sansteivi. here
