Torsion axles provide independent suspension, exceptional rigidity, corrosion resistance, and a far superior ride to any leaf spring suspension. Available on most models.
LED lights offer far greater reliability than incandescent fixtures. Long-lasting and waterproof design make these lights ideal for any trailer application. [links]
All gooseneck trailers are required to have safety chains to attach at the ball in the bed. here
Trailers, just like vehicles, need their tires rotated too. To avoid mechanical problems both minor and major, it is recommended that you rotate your trailer tires.
A trailer tire should be inflated to the maximum inflation designated on the sidewall of the tire to provide the full load carrying capacity. If the tire is warm from operation, add 3 psi over the maximum inflation to compensate for the increased pressure from heat buildup.
Torsion axles are made up of thick rubber cords concealed in the axle’s tubing. As each wheel moves up and down, the rubber cords compress offering an even wheel suspension for a smooth ride. Each wheel acts independently, moving and absorbing shocks. [links]
How do you lift a trailer without a jack? The method is pretty simple. Raise the tongue all the way and block the trailer frame in front of the axle but far enough back so the trailer will tilt forward when you lower the tongue. This raises the back of the trailer, so you block that up and raise the tongue.
The answers are "yes" and "maybe." Like tires on your car or tow vehicle, trailer tires that are balanced ensure proper tire wear and reduce vibration. Single axle boat-trailer tires usually don't need to be rotated. A tandem axle trailer rotation isn't necessary unless you notice increased wear that's occurring faster than normal. In that case, rotate the tires from front to back, preferably in an "X" configuration. more
Inspect the sidewalls for spiderweb cracks, which is evidence of dry rot (and imminent failure).
Often overlooked, the valve stem may be the cause of continued low psi. Press your finger against one side of the stem and listen for any loss of air. more

We view trailer construction in three different parts: frame, boat support and under-carriage. The frame determines the structural strength and look of the trailer. The boat support allows easy loading and unloading of your boat. Finally, the under-carriage provides both the weight carrying capacity as well as the shock absorption that you need. If you have questions, please visit our dealers - they know our product line and your unique boating conditions.
