I get the feeling that the previous owner had not done anything with the plugs for the first 100 hours. The original NGK plugs had Black bases rather than polished like most new plugs. I was surprised. The good thing was the plugs showed now abnormal burn from what this untrained eye could see. There was a bit of corrosion around the base, but nothing odd.
I hate changing things that are still working, but I do know these should be changed out on a regular basis. I did notice a couple misses the last time out. Just like I used to hear on my waverunners when they were starting to foul a plug. With 6 of them, I would bet it is tougher to hear them failing than with three. more
