This classic twenty-four footer was purchased from the original owner (a family friend) in 1992. The current owner updated the interior, freshened up the motor, ran the boat for about 200 hours and it's been stored in a climate-controlled warehouse ever since. It has not been started or in the water in about 20 years, currently winterized the engine and turbos are said to turn freely. The boat is in great shape for being 41 years old. Some slight stress marks around a few fixures and moldings. Other than that it looks great. Bud Bailey helped design boats for Campbell Boats in the 1960s and Hallett Boats in the 1980s. Spectra Marine made 5 hulls 18, 19, 20, 24, and 32. All hulls were used in racing applications from river enduros to Offshore racing. The Spectra 20 was considered the most splashed boat of the 1970s. Spectra Marine ceased production in 1981. Since that time it has been considered a very popular classic race boat seen at the river and other lakes throughout North America. This boat was originally purchased to be a gift for the seller's father. It was meticulously brought back to its past glory prior to his passing. The boat has in the last year been gone through from stem to stern.
