All hulls were used in racing applications from river enduros to Offshore racing. The Spectra 20 was considered the most splashed boat of the 1970s. Spectra Marine ceased production in 1981. Since that time it has been considered a very popular classic race boat seen at the river and other lakes throughout North America.
