In 1981, my mom moved us to an abandoned home near Burt Road and Outer Drive that a friend had purchased. We had no food. My sister and I would walk to your soup kitchen twice a week for food. At one point, the only food we had was potatoes and rice from your food pantry. We lived on boiled potatoes and rice! This is a small part I can do to pay back your soup kitchen for helping a 14 year old boy and a 16 year old girl survive. May God Bless your soup kitchen. [links]
SCCS is in dire need of a new walk-in refrigerator-freezer.
The current unit is 43 years old and has been deemed hazardous. It has had frequent repairs, and due to its age, it is impossible to obtain parts as needed. The freezer is used to store meat. The refrigeration unit is used daily to refrigerate items such as fresh vegetables, fruit, milk, eggs, etc. more
We’re back! St. Christine’s WILL BE OPEN TOMORROW, and all following Tuesdays, from 1-4. All clients are strongly encouraged to come in their cars, and line up down Dacosta in their cars, where bags will be placed in their trunk. If you do not have a car, a walk-up table will be available outside of the pantry, however, you may also ask someone to pick up for you!

One of the highlights of Season 3 of Selling Sunset on Netflix was Christine Quinn's gothic winter wonderland wedding to Christian Richard. The couple's unforgettable nuptials featured snow falling from the ceiling, black swans, and a wedding cake dripping in blood. And while Quinn is somewhat of an open book, her new husband appears to be much more lowkey.
During an appearance on the Dear Media podcast, Not Skinny But Not Fat, Quinn told host Amanda Hirsch, "I met [Christian Richard] through a girlfriend of mine. She went on a date with him and she just wasn't into it. And she was like, 'Hey, I went on a date with this guy and just like, not feeling it, but I do know that he is looking for a house.'" Of course, real estate mogul Quinn was ready to help out.
Richard and Quinn's romance was something of a whirlwind, with the couple saying "I do" less than a year after their first date. During a toast at their engagement party, per ELLE, Richard said, "Christine, I met you in Beverly Hills not even a year ago, and I absolutely fell head over heels in love with you." [links]
