A bowrider boat has extra seating at the bow in front of the helm. This extra space lets you bring more people out on the lake for an afternoon of relaxing on the water. Bowriders are primarily pleasure craft, not suited for fishing or sport. They don’t have a roof or cabin and are mainly intended for use on sunny day cruises, rather then rough waters. Their engines are either a stern drive or an outboard, and many can be engineered to go extra speeds, but others are just for comfort. Boats under 21’ are smaller in design.
