Guys,
Last year I noticed water being thrown from the circulating water pump on my 2000 Volvo Penta 4.3 GL (top water pump). I assume this means I need a new water pump. My question is - how hard is this. I do not own a VP manual as I've always paid to have this done. I want to do this myself. Is it as easy as pulling the fan belt and removing and replacing? My only unknown is do you have to use any type of "goop sealer" when reinstalling? Thanks in advance for any help. here
