One thing I would love to find is a list of everything needed to begin basic servicing of this volvo outdrive. That way i would not have to make several trips for things I didn't know I needed. If it is not too much trouble, could someone direct me to a simple list of tools, items, fluids I will need (I would rather not be directed to a manual, there is just too much info and I have them downloaded already) I'm sure there are countless others who would need this info here

Ok. decided to start a new thread as I start the service on this DP-? (A or B) volvo outdrive.

Let me first say that the main reason I started this thread is because I noticed more water in the bilge than normal and found a small cut in the U-joint bellows.

If you push the - and up and it works, then the system is working normal. The up button is for the trim only which is the first 8° to 12° of trim movement, to go higher you must use the - and up buttons to make it work. That is how it is supposed to work. Now, Im getting confused. What is your system NOT doing. <br />Does your drive NOT go up at any time? or just up the first few degrees of trim then no further even when using both buttons? [links]

Thanks Don for the wiring diagram. I assume that I can unplug at trim motor and jumper either the green/white or blue/white to make the motor go up for full range bypaasing the override for a temporary fix while trouble shooting. Also do you know which color is the up going to the trim motor. Thanks for all your help.

Thats how it is normally, not now, sorry the drive goes up to the 12 degrees of trim movement not any higher when pushing the - and up at the same time. [links]
