Warranty: Volvo Penta parts carry a (1) year manufacturers warranty. Should the part you received fail after install, take a copy of the receipt to an authorized Volvo Penta dealer for a warranty evaluation. If determined that the part failed due to a defect the Volvo dealer will supply a replacement part to the consumer. If needed the Volvo dealer could assist in installation of the new part at his normal labor rate. TIP:
Store the boat with the drive fully down and aiming straight forward.
If you trailer this boat, raise the drive NO MORE than need be for road clearance.
This will help extend the life of your drive shaft bellows.

The C drives are main suspension fork/pivot tube geometry. NO Gimbal anything!

The originals came with outer clips on the universals.
Yes, early on, Volvo Penta used the internally clipped bearing crosses, and then later went to externally clipped bearing crosses, as per what you have (as seen above). more

A direct replacement for your bearing crosses (externally clipped) will be the Italian Bondioli & Pavesi 4120E0011.
There is also a Merle brand that works.
