The British Rowing Awards are a new annual celebration of the sport of rowing and all those who make our sport so special. On the night of the Head of the River Race, it's an opportunity for our rowing community to come together and say thank you to the amazing volunteers, coaches, clubs, competitions and projects that are so vital for our sport.

The boats are sailing from Cleveland Yachting Club, on an island in the Rocky River, and competing all week.
“Thistle sailors often leave for bigger boats and international competitions, but they always come back when Cleveland hosts a big regatta,” according to the event.

For most of the week, the weather looks sunny and warm, though on Sunday sailors had to deal with waterspouts. more
The Thistle is one of North America’s most popular and competitive one-design sailing classes, which began in Cleveland. Its 17-foot hull is built to slice through the waves with a three-person crew.

ORRA and USRowing produce the 2021 USRowing Masters National Championships on Melton Lake in Oak Ridge, Tenn. More than 1400 rowers representing every area of the country converged on Oak Ridge for spirited 1000-meter racing on smooth water. Complemented by beer, bands, and food, the event was a great success and ORRA looks forward to extending our Southern hospitality to everyone at another National event in the near future.
