The displacement reflects the quality of the construction and the equipment dedicated to provide best comfort onboard. A yacht that will be safe, a pleasure to sail, will have an easy motion at sea due to the form stability and moderate ballast of the three keel options available, standard, shallow and racing. Following the latest larger models, the new design shows no distortion in the stern sections, the deck beam has been carried all the way back to the transom in combination with a twin rudder arrangement. On deck there are separate areas for relaxing and sail handling. All halyards and sails are controlled from the cockpit and the tails stowed in dedicated bins. Protection from the elements is given by the spray hood mounted in combination with the bimini. The lazarette is large enough to accommodate and stow a fully inflated 2.80 metre tender. For sailors interested in racing at the Corinthian level there is a performance package offer available from Nautor, including a racing keel, a square top mainsail, carbon fibre mast and rigging, long bowsprit, upgraded deck gear together with recommendations to remove some of the cruising oriented equipment like the gen set.

A suction scar is the diagnostically distinctive mark most commonly found on the base of earlier bottles produced by the Owens Automatic Bottle Machine. (An image of an early Owens Bottle Machine #6 is to the left below [Walbridge 1920]). The mark is a result of a mechanical blade or "knife" which cut off the glass being drawn upwards into the blank or parison mold via a suction process once enough glass was drawn to produce the desired bottle (Russ Hoenig [Owens-Illinois Glass Co. engineer] pers. comm. 2009). Instead of affixing a pontil rod in some fashion to the base of the hot, post molded bottle (as described above) the handler (or servitor) used one of these non-empontilling tools to hold the bottle. These tools usually left little or no markings on the bottle base or sides. Sometimes a bottle will appear to have the surface texture of the body sides indented or roughed up by the tool or the sides slightly flattened by over-compression. It is usually difficult or impossible to conclusively differentiate the subtle markings of a snap-case or sabot from the array of possible mouth-blown mold or glass making imperfections.

The post mold is actually a three (and sometimes more) part mold where the middle portion of the base is formed by a separate small plate or "post" with the neck, shoulder, body, heel, and outside edges of the base formed by the two side mold sections. Sometimes the finish was also partially or totally molded (the later tooled finish post mold bottles and most "ground top" fruit jars from 1858 on). A valve or ejection mark on the base of a bottle is a definitive indication of machine-made manufacture by a press-and-blow type machine (Miller & Morin 2004). This mark was formed by machines that utilized a push-rod valve to eject the partially expanded parison out of the blank mold (the "press" part of the process) when shifting the parison to the second blow mold (the "blow" part of the machine process) (Tooley 1953).
