I had a Suzuki 2 cycle outboard on my last boat - 5 hp - and it was a great dependable engine. Never let me down, and plenty of power for a Shark 24. Use a 50 to 1 mixture with this engine. Synthetic is fine - make sure you mix it well into the gas. Add a stabilizer at the end of the season before you store the engine for the winter. Let the engine run for at least 10 minutes to make sure the stablized mixture is in all the engine parts where needed. Will start right up next spring.
