We have been in business for 20 years and our covers are the original vented outboard motor cover. The vents allow proper airflow to your engine while it is running, and protection while trailering your boat or in storage. Our covers will protect your motor from UV rays, flying debris and rocks, lures, limbs, birds, salt water, and the elements, while keeping your motor looking fresh and new. We also sell a UV protectant spray to extend the life of your cover for years of durability.

Our covers are made from a tough marine-grade acrylic-coated woven polyester fabric (NOT neoprene) that is treated with UV and water repellent chemicals. The white underside is a soft, felt-like, non-abrasive backing that protects your cowling. All our covers are vented, and can STAY INSTALLED when you run your boat. more

If you have an unpainted surface on your Yamaha, like bare metal or plastic, apply primer before Yamaha touch up paint! Apply several thin coats of primer to the Yamaha paint you are going to repair. Only apply a small amount of primer to your Yamaha at time. Let the primer dry, overnight if possible, before applying the Yamaha touch up paint. Once dry, lightly sand the primed Yamaha paint area with #220 grit sandpaper followed by #600 wet and dry sandpaper. here

Sometimes the Yamaha color code is well hidden! Some vehicles do not have color codes so contact us with as much information as you can. We often can make these Yamaha colors.

Remove all traces of rust from your Yamaha with 220 grit sandpaper or a wire brush. Then use rust converter and apply it to the rusted area of your Yamaha. here

You are now ready to apply Yamaha touch up paint to your car. Apply several thin coats of Yamaha touch up paint to build up the damaged paint area to the same depth as the surrounding surface. Let the Yamaha paint dry for ten to twenty minutes between coats. After the final coat, let the paint dry thoroughly before applying a clearcoat layer. Usually if you let the Yamaha paint dry overnight, it will be dry. If temperatures are below 70 degrees F, allow additional time for the Yamaha touch up paint to dry. [links]

I would like to thank you for the opportunity to test one of your covers. The engine cover was fitted on one of our Yamaha F350’s. We ran the engine in our test tank at various RPMs and run times. During these tests, we had our engine diagnostics with the engine cover removed. We saw no variance in any of the data we collected. The covers performed flawlessly, having no impact on engine performance at any of our test points. We would like to thank you for the opportunity to test your covers impact on performance. I would recommend Outer Envy boat engine covers to anyone.
