But things came to an anticlimax for Johnny after his ex-wife Amber Heard had filed for divorce, accusing him of domestic abuse, following which Johnny would be expelled from the 'Pirates of the Caribbean' franchise.

However, Pirates of the Caribbean 6 is under production without Johnny Depp. We earlier reported that Orlando Bloom, Keira Knightley, Kaya Scodelario, Brenton Thwaites, and Kevin McNally are returning in Pirates of the Caribbean 6.
It is hard to imagine Pirates of the Caribbean 6 without Johnny Depp as the iconic antihero Captain Jack Sparrow. Johnny's performance in the first movie of Pirates of the Caribbean made him an overnight star. And his popularity as Captain Jack continued to skyrocket over the next few 'Pirates of the Caribbean' movies.
However, we’re hearing from our sources – the same ones who told us Ben Kingsley was returning as Trevor Slattery in Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings long before it was confirmed – that the door could be open for Orlando Bloom to return as Will Turner, which would set him up as the main legacy player of the new Pirates of the Caribbean era.

We’re closing in on three years since it was first announced the franchise’s most popular character and all-round 21st Century cinematic icon Captain Jack wasn’t part of the franchise’s future plans, and the Mouse House have shown no signs of budging. A direct sequel to Dead Men Tell No Tales and a spinoff hailing from Birds of Prey duo Margot Robbie and Christina Hodson remain in development, but that’s about all the information we’ve got.
The series veteran did make a brief cameo in Dead Men Tell No Tales, which focused largely on his son Henry’s hunt for the Trident of Poseidon and desire to free his father from the Flying Dutchman’s curse. He succeeded, and the post-credits scene teased that Davy Jones wasn’t done with the Turner family just yet, which is one potential plot direction for the sixth Pirates of the Caribbean blockbuster to head. This attraction is full of rich details rooted in Disney history that park goers still watch for today. One of these details is the initials of “WD” and “RD” in the ironwork on the balcony of the building to represent Walt and Roy. Make sure to look up to catch this detail before entering the building. Another cool detail to watch out for is the inclusion of one of the featured pirate names within the attraction itself. When you get to the dock to board your boat, look up to to see a sign that says “Laffite's Landing.” Laffite was a pirate with American historical roots who gave assistance to Andrew Jackson in the Battle of New Orleans. Another detail, while never confirmed as true by Disney, is that the ride includes a real human skull. You can spot this infamous skull on the headboard of the skeleton pirate draped in his riches at the beginning of the ride. here
