yamsack Wrote: My pure sine inverter is 600 watts. It's made by Power Bright and is a quality inverter, so there's most likely fuse protection built in the inverter.

I looked at my Coleman modified sine wave inverter, that my son gave me for Christmas 3 years ago and saw that it came equipped with 8 gauge power cables. The unit is a 800 watt, peak 1600 watt model. The cables are 3' in length. Seems like the cables should be larger, say 4 gauge according to 4x4tour's chart. The internal fuse for the inverter is 35 amp. [links]

Attach the Cobra Tag sensor to your keys, purse, computer bag, or any other item you want to protect from loss. The sensor communicates with your smartphone via Bluetooth, and will remind you if you leave your phone or valuables behind. The Cobra Tag is also a two-way finder. Tap the button on the Cobra Tag to ring your smartphone. If you are looking for your Cobra Tag protected item, use the phone’s application to make the Cobra Tag ring. To secure your phones data, the powerful PhoneHalo application can be set to lock your phone when out of range of your tagged item. Never lose your valuables again! here

Your location: Your location will also influence the range. For example if you are located on an inland waterway where buildings and trees can block your signal, you will get less range than if you where in the middle of the ocean. With a handheld radio your range will vary depending on whether you are inside the cabin (worst range) or standing on the highest portion of the deck (best range). [links]

When the battery is full, all 4 LEDs will light up. This is normal. [links]

So a breaker or fuse going off is often a sign that something else is wrong: a symptom, not a cause of your problem. The problem may be easy to fix or it may not be. Many appliances have sensors on their mechanical parts that will kick a breaker or blow a fuse rather than allow the appliance to continue running in an unsafe mode.

If your COACH batteries are good, and are fully charged, and your CUT-OFF switch is in the right position, your 12-Volt system should be powering things as normal.

Answer: Your appliances in your camper run on 110-VAC, so when you disconnected the shore power it and your other 110-VAC appliances should NOT WORK. more

The sound of a car alarm going off accidentally can be quite alarming (embarrassing too, when you discover that it's your car making all that noise). Your neighbors will also be annoyed having to listen to the commotion. If your car alarm goes off on a regular basis, a thief actually breaking into your car may go unnoticed. Knowing how to disconnect your car alarm fuse will help you quickly restore peace in your neighborhood until you find out how to resolve the problem.

Locate the fuse box containing the alarm fuse. It is usually located on the dashboard by the driver's door, in front of your left knee. You may find the alarm fuse in this fuse box. If you do not find an alarm fuse inside of the car, look in the fuse box under the hood on the driver's side. Your car model may or may not have additional fuse boxes.

Open the fuse box, and then locate the fuse labeled "Alarm." Look for the alarm fuse on the inside of the fuse box lid, which has a diagram of fuse names and types for your car. Older cars have cylinder-shaped, glass fuses, while new cars have fuses with colored plastic cases surrounding the fusible links. more
