A yachts that goes from Palma de Mallorca to Seychelles for instance will take approx. 9 weeks depending on weather. This sort of deliveries is more complicated as the yacht and her crew will have to travel through, Red Sea, Gulf of Aden and obviously more attention needs to be given to such passage.
Yacht Delivery to USA from the Mediterranean will take approximately 6/7 weeks.

Most yacht deliveries are set Eastbound during spring time, in order to get the yachts ready for the upcoming summer in Europe. The same will apply with the Westbound yacht deliveries which instead will take place during autumn or late summer to reach almost any destination: USA, Caribbean, Seychelles, Maldives and more. Of course yachts can be delivered off season and at any required times anywhere, usually this applies to Charter Broker Companies that need their sold yachts to reach charter locations at any time.

Ever since I first started this job as a Skipper back in 1999, I have always tried to manage deliveries by giving all my attention to the quality of service and customer care. As a Skipper, these are surely my priorities together with my crew and the boat of course! Maintaining yachts at the highest level and keeping them in perfect conditions is also very important to me and I make sure this is kept up to high standards at all times. We need to make sure that our yacht is always clean throughout, even though sometimes the situation makes it impossible, as a shortage of water while at sea or adverse weather condition. A skipper should also be able to keep the boat functional and in perfect working order, but most important, completing the jobs safely, in good timing and returning the yacht even in better conditions than when it was handed over to him at the start.
Delivery Captain was founded in 2007 to provide Yacht Delivery Service by sea to worldwide destinations by qualified professional skippers and crew. The company only recruits professional MCA/RYA qualified sailors with a minimum of yacht master qualification. All crew are carefully selected and references are checked one by one to ensure our skipper is always supported by real professionals and not by occasional sailors. Today the company has become one of the best worldwide company and surely the best European delivery company in the industry. Starting from Europe the service has soon extended to the worldwide clientele request. Even though we have seen good economic times, we have also experienced some bad economic times, with recession touching almost any country, and now with coronavirus changing completely the way we leave, work and travel. Delivery Captain has always been able to keep low prices regardless of the world changes, making it a very competitive company.
Owner will be provided with a comprehensive report constructed from notes taken while underway. The delivery reports are very helpful to new and used boat owners. A yacht delivery survey provides valuable information for future maintenance or needed upgrades. The delivery survey is free, no additional cost to the owner; it is part of our delivery fee.
